Donald Trump Betting Expert Wanted at Irish Gambling Website

Donald Trump Betting Expert Wanted at Irish Gambling Website An Irish gambling website is taking advantage of the unpredictability of President Donald Trump’s White House tenure by hiring a “head of Trump betting.” In a job posting riddled with jokes about the President, Paddy Power is looking for the right candidate to fill a three-month contract in Dublin to monitor the existing Trump markets, as well as launch new betting options. And “they will also need to build a wall around the job to ensure foreign bets don’t get in,” the ad reads. Paddy Power said in the ad it desires someone who knows certain aspects of the President well. A candidate with “substantial experience with fake tan is preferable,” as well as one with an “ability to detect Fake News.” “We want to make American politics great again,” the posting says. “Because, let’s face it, there’s no chance Trump will.” But, in some ways, Paddy Power wants someone who has more understanding of the world than the President himself. One of the job qualifications asks for a “better understanding of global politics than Donald Trump. Which won’t exclude many.” Betting over Trump has grown substantially for Paddy Power, the New York Times reports. Paddy Power Betfair is a bookmarking business based in Dublin. A spokesman for the company told the New York Times that the job posting is, indeed, real. On the gambling website, a variety of betting options are currently offered. Options range from betting on who from the Trump administration will resign next, whether White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon will succeed Trump, as well as bets on what Trump will ban during his first term. (Some of those options include the burka or hijab and the voting rights for black Americans and women.)
